Welcome to my new web site, blog, and newsletter!

Hi, this is the new web site for George K. Thiruvathukal, PhD. After years of maintaining a mostly static presence, I have decided to move to a framework that has the best of many worlds using the Ghost platform, which we have been using successfully for the CS department's newsroom at newsroom.cs.luc.edu. I won't go into all of the reasons but Ghost is designed for independent publishers (similar to Medium) and not-for-profit uses and allows me to maintain control of my own content. My main use case is academic/professional and to make it easy to keep abreast of my latest work.
